Richard Healy is a Dublin born Artist. He studied at the National College of Art and Design, where he graduated in 2000 with an Honours Degree in Fine Art sculpture. Since leaving college Richard has worked primarily in stone. His work draws on inspiration from the natural world around him.

His sculptures are currently on show at The Millcove Gallery. Richards' work is included in a number of private collections around Ireland, Europe and the Far East. His piece 'Tripod' won first prize at the RDS craft show 2011. Richard was commissioned by the OPW to create a number of works for the sensory garden at Aras an Uachtarain in 2011 and also for Trinity House in 2012. He exhibited in Taiwan in 2013
